Anders Lindegaard expects to be with Manchester United for their US tour.
The Danish goalkeeper has been linked with a move away in search of first team football.
"We want to win all competitions we participate in. It's great to be in something like this instead of just playing random games. It's a great initiative," Lindegaard told manutd.com of the International Champions Cup in the US.
"Usually we play against local teams and the main focus is on the fitness part of the game. It's still going to be on that but it's going to have an extra dimension now, playing against these big teams. It will be more exciting for people watching it, not just in the local area but across the planet as well."
