Lindegaard expects Man Utd jobshare over keeper role

Manchester United goalkeeper Anders Lindegaard knows he may continue sharing the No1 role with David De Gea this season. Ferguson axed De Gea after a mistake gifted Fulham a goal in their second game but Lindegaard admits he is far from certain of staying in the team for tomorrow's Champions League game against Galatasaray despite keeping a clean sheet in the 4-0 win over Wigan on Saturday.

The Danish international said: "Whether I am playing or not is still a very open question.

"Every time you play for United is an exam. It doesn't matter whether it is Champions League, Premier League or a training match. At this point I see David and my roles as co-workers rather than a No1 and No2. He has his strengths and I have mine, and the gaffer is world class at picking the right teams and I trust in that and I accept his decision. "
