Lincoln draw Leeds in Carling Cup

Lincoln boss Chris Sutton is already looking forward to the Carling Cup clash against Leeds. The Imps will travel to Elland Road for the first round tie during the first week of the new season.

"It`s a good draw for us. We will be going there with no-one expecting us to get anything from the game so we can enjoy it and you never know what might happen in football," Sutton told the club's official website.

"It's an exciting one for everyone, especially the supporters, and I hope we get a good following up there to back us."

Meanwhile, Sutton is still trying to attract new players to Sincil Bank ahead of the new campaign.

He added: "We are talking to a number of targets and waiting for some to come back to us. Hopefully there will be some developments in the near future."
