Lille will try to sign Michy Batshuay on loan from Chelsea this month.

La Voix du Nord is reporting that the French club are wanting to sign the Belgian striker on loan for the rest of the season.

The report indicates that any temporary deal would not include an option to buy.

Batshuayi joined Chelsea from Olympique Marseille for £33million in the summer but is yet to start for Antonio Conte in the Premier League.

It is understood that despite Batshuayi's lack of presence in the Blues' first team, there is absolutely no intention of letting the 23-year-old leave Stamford Bridge this winter as the West Londoners chase the Premier League title.
