French club Lille have slipped into the final 32 of the Europa League after defeating Slavia Prague 3-1 at home on Thursday night.
The home side took the lead after 25 minute through Yohan Cabaye before doubling their advantage 14 minutes later thanks to Gervinho.
The Czechs hit back ten minutes after the break with a goal from Stanislav Vlcek before Ludovic Obraniak confirmed the win for the French outfit in the 80th minute.
Lille needed to match or better Italian club Genoa's result at home against Spain's Valencia but the qualification into the next round was more comfortable than it could have been as Genoa went down 2-1 to enable Lille a second-place finish.
