Lille loan signing Joe Cole admits he failed at Liverpool.
Cole has joined Lille on a season-long loan.
"I am a winner. It did not work at Liverpool for many reasons and it hurt me," Cole said.
"I am here to bring success to Lille. I know some players like Hazard, (Moussa) Sow and (Benoit) Pedretti. Unfortunately, English television does not show a lot of French football.
"I liked the challenge (proposed by Lille), I like the continental football and it's exciting for me.
"I love challenges. It's a different playing style and I hope that people in England will watch me play and get more interested in French football!"
