Lille and Arsenal are in talks for the £10m transfer of Gervinho to the Emirates Stadium and the French outfit expect a decision next week. Arsenal appear to be favourites, ahead of Manchester City and Newcastle, for the Ivory Coast international's signature.
French champions' general manager Frederic Paquet revealed talks are continuing.
"It should be next week," Paquet told mercato365.com regarding the current state of the discussions.
"These are negotiations that start slowly. Is it on track? I do not know. Today I cannot tell.
"Could the player still leave for PSG? Gervinho wants to go to England and, as a club, we prefer to sell Gervinho abroad."
