Lille defender Simon Kjaer is not letting speculation get in the way of his Champions League aspirations.
The 25-year old Danish centre-back, who arrived at the Stade Pierre-Mauroy in the summer, has been an integral part of the Lille side that sits third on France's Ligue 1 table.
Former Palermo and Wolfsburg man Kjaer has been linked with both Manchester United and AC Milan recently but he insists his focus is on helping les Dogues book a spot in Europe's premier club competition for next season.
"It is of course always flattering to be linked with big clubs," Kjaer told Danish newspaper BT.
"But I am not wasting my thoughts on rumours about other clubs.
"I am spending all my efforts and keep my focus entirely on reaching my goal that we will qualify for the Champions League next season."
