French club Lille have come forward with a £10million offer for Portsmouth defender Younes Kaboul.
With Pompey experiencing a crippling financial crisis, they will be prepared to sacrifice their key defender to ease fiscal concerns and such a healthy offer would have them seriously thinking about letting the 24-year old go.
Kaboul has also been linked with Manchester City and Lyon but Lille have made their intentions clear and the fact they are in well in the hunt for the French title may lure the former Tottenham man back to Ligue 1.
Lille president Michel Seydoux has reportedly told French media that he is ready to put "£10million on the table" to acquire the services of the powerful Kaboul from England's south coast.
