Lille coach Marcelo Bielsa has no doubts Neymar's arrival will lift Ligue 1 this season.

Bielsa has welcomed PSG's world record €222m swoop.

The former Athletic Bilbao boss stated: "If we consider what he (Neymar) contributes or produces, what has been paid is not exaggerated. According to this logic, Neymar is not expensive.

"Neymar will be a great promoter of the image of this championship and its fans. It will be done because this league is worthwhile.

"There is a lot of intensity here, it is the tournament that is most like the Premier League."
