Lille coach Stephane Adam admits Liverpool's desire to sign Divock Origi came as no shock to him.

The Belgium starlet last week became the Reds' sixth signing of the summer after completing a £10m switch to Anfield.

"I'm not really surprised," he said.

"When I had him working under me with the under-19s, you had the impression that he was playing with his little brothers.

"Divock has the qualities to become a world-class player."
