Lille chief assures Gervinho they will listen to Arsenal offer

Lille have assured Gervinho they're prepared to hold talks with Arsenal about his sale.

The Ivory Coast striker favours a move to the Gunners ahead of Manchester City, which has made a late play for his transfer.

Lille chief Frédéric Paquet admitted earlier this week Gervinho was in talks with Arsenal and today told L'Equipe: "We will listen to Arsenal's proposal."

The French champs have also tabled an improved contract offer to the 24 year-old, but he now has made up his mind about a move to London this summer.
