The race for Pescara striker Gianluca Lapadula is heating up.

Interest from Tottenham and Leicester has been confirmed by Pescara officials, however, competition is arriving from France.

La Phoceen says Olympique Marseille and Lille are also in contact with the Serie B club for Lapadula.

Indeed, Lille are regarded in Italy as new favourites for the forward.

However, Lapadula's preference is to remain in Italy, where he has fielded interest from Juventus and Napoli.
