Lille manager Rene Girard has denied suggestions that Divock Origi is set to move to Liverpool in the winter.
Reports have speculated that the 19-year old Belgian forward, who signed with the Reds for £10million in the summer, could leave his loan with Lille early.
With Mario Balotelli failing to fire for Liverpool, it is believed that Brendan Rodgers may recall Origi from his season-long spell at the Stade Pierre-Mauroy but Girard has denied those reports.
"It's only a rumour. There have been no approaches, as far as I know," Girard told RTBF.
"It was agreed that Divock [will] spend the year with us. There's no reason he should leave midway through the season."
This season, Origi has scored four goals for Les Dogues who he initially joined from Genk in 2010.
