Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger is weighing up meeting Salomon Kalou's buyout clause at Lille.
Kalou can leave Lille today for £2.5 million and Wenger is ready to push through a deal after failing to agree terms with Schalke for Julian Draxler.
Former Chelsea star Kalou would jump at the chance of returning to London and to work for Wenger.
He would arrive as a replacement for the injured Theo Walcott.
