Dundee United have announced a new six figure, two-year sponsorship deal with Scotland's leading liquefied petroleum gas suppliers Calor. The agreement was recently signed by Stephen Rennie, managing director of Calor, and Tannadice chairman Stephen Thompson, and will see the logos of Calor appear on the new club shirts for the 2010/11 season and also on all Dundee United official replica kit shirts.
Thompson said: "We are absolutely delighted to have Calor as our new main club sponsor.
"The company is one of the UK's biggest and well-known brand names, and we are excited about what it can offer the club.
"Calor has a key part to play in the future development of the club and we believe we can play a similar role for them in their strategic aims in Scotland.
"There is synergy between the two brands in terms of growth ambitions, performance levels, target customers and heritage. We look forward to a long and fruitful relationship."
