George Weah was able to catch up with his former Chelsea teammates during their stay in Miami.
Despite his short stay, the Liberian considers his time at Stamford Bridge among the highlights of his glittering career and was pleased to meet up with John Terry and Roberto Di Matteo before the weekend's game.
"John Terry was a young man when I first saw him, and he was a good boy," recalled the 46-year-old to chelseafc.com. "Now he is the captain and I spoke to him, I always told him he was going to be one of the best central defenders, and now he is the best.
"I also saw the coach, the man who won me my FA Cup medal. We must commend Roman Abramovich for giving him the opportunity to continue in the job. He came and was able to contribute to the cause and to be able to continue his work is important.
"Robbie is another very disciplined person and I am sure he will do well and I pray he is successful."
