Former Reading fullback Nicky Shorey's £4 million move to Aston Villa has netted Leyton Orient a cool £600,000 windfall.
Orient had a 15 per cent sell-on clause in the deal which took Shorey to Reading and boss Martin Ling said: "I can get a better quality player now."
