Leyton Orient will take on New York Cosmos in a friendly at the Matchroom Stadium on Wednesday July 24, 7:30pm kick-off.

The Cosmos were reformed in 2010 and returning to action in the North American Soccer League for the 2013 season.

"We are delighted to be hosting the Cosmos at the Matchroom and look forward to welcoming them and their followers," Orient Chief Executive Matt Porter said.

"This is the latest in a line of exciting announcement this summer and a rare opportunity to see the O's take on opponents from across the Atlantic so we are hoping for a great turnout in E10."

"I'm looking forward to taking our squad to the UK," said Cosmos head coach Savarese. "The chance to train and play in a different environment and face Orient will benefit our team and our pre-season preparations."
