Lewandowski willing to speak with Chelsea if...

Bayern Munich striker Robert Lewandowski wants to know the identity of Chelsea's manager next season before entering transfer talks.

The Daily Express says the Blues have long planned to replace current boss Antonio Conte with ex-Napoli tactician Maurizio Sarri but have been held in tense negotiations over the Italian side's compensation demands.

Lewandowski is keen on a move away from Bundesliga giants Bayern while the forward's agent, Pini Zahavi, has said that he “needs a change and a new challenge."

And Chelsea have established their interest in the Polish international, currently at the World Cup in Russia, but will make no further headway for as the long the current situation persists.

Lewandowski - who has scored over 40 goals across all competitions in his last four seasons for Bayern - would take up the mantle as Chelsea's first-choice No 9 after Alvaro Morata's misfiring first year in west London.
