Real Madrid have received encouragement from Robert Lewandowski in their pursuit of the Bayern Munich striker.

AS says the Pole has met with Real officials 'privately', according to German sources. There has already been meetings held between Real chief Jose Angel Sanchez and the player's agent, Cezary Kucharski.

Real are ready to bid for the striker if Bayern show a willingness to sell.

For his part, Lewandowski is willing to agitate for a move if he is confident Real will make a serious play for him this summer.

Lewandowski is the Galactico that Real president Florentino Perez wants to sign in the coming three months.

"It is very rare that players stay in their teams until the end of their contracts," said Lewandowski recently. "I never said I would end my career with this or that club, I never kissed the badge."
