Lewandowski unsettled at Bayern Munich, ponders Premier League

Robert Lewandowski is believed to be contemplating a move away from Bayern Munich.

The Daily Mail reports that the Polish striker has become unsettled with the German giants and is pondering the possibility of making a sensational move to the Premier League.

It is understood that Lewandowski, 27, has been in talks with Bayern hierarchy regarding the extension of his current contract, which expires in the summer of 2019, but is prepared to listen to outside offers during the negotiation process.

Liverpool remains an option for Lewandowski as it is believed he would be open to a reunion wth former Borussia Dortmund boss Jurgen Klopp but the fact there will be no Champions League football at Anfield could diminish the Reds' hopes.

The former Lech Poznan ace has also been previously linked with Manchester United but a move to Old Trafford appears unlikely as the Red Devils get set to sign Zlatan Ibrahimovic.

Alongside Lewandowski's reported uncertainty at Bayern, the prolific goalscorer is preparing for Thursday's Euro2016 clash between Poland and Germany where he is likely to come up against a handful of club teammates in the Group C encounter in Paris.
