Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy has no intention of selling striker Jermain Defoe.

The Telegraph says Spurs are likely to tell Defoe, who has already suggested he might have to leave in search of first-team football, that they have no intention of selling him.

Defoe has expressed frustration over his lack of first team starts last season.
