Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy is ready to secure Luka Modric to a new contract.
The People says top of Levy's to-do list is to sort out Modric's new contract - but he also wants to speak with Rafael van der Vaart, Benoit Assou-Ekotto and Aaron Lennon over improved terms, while talks have already begun with Ledley King.
Modric, who is being eyed by Chelsea and Manchester United, continues to stall on a new contract that has been on the table since last year as he is keen to know what happens with manager Harry Redknapp first.
