Bayer Leverkusen chief executive Wolfgang Holzhauser has denied claims the club are in talks to sell Andre Schurrle to Chelsea. The Blues made a bid for the 21 year old Germany international striker earlier this summer, and Holzhauser stated they had turned down a bid in excess of £16million - believed to have been the one from Chelsea.
Now a new bid is being suggested, but Holzhauser insists the situation remains the same.
"Andre Schurrle is an important player of our club," he told Bild.
"There is no asking price in this case as there is no alternative solution. We have already said everything about this."
