Andre Schurrle is closing in on a summer move to Chelsea according to recent reports.
The Bayer Leverkusen forward will finally get his dream shift to Stamford Bridge after the German club ended their interest in Blues attacker Kevin de Bruyne.
Leverkusen wanted de Bruyne on loan as part of the Schurrle deal but after they signed Heung Min-son from Hamburg, the £18million move to Southwest London will now take place.
"We have made it clear from the beginning Schurrle's departure would only be possible if we found an adequate alternative," said Leverkusen chairman Wolfgang Holzhauser.
"We have now found this and so there is nothing to stand in the way of Schurrle's move."
