Leverkusen’s Ballack urges Man Utd to go after Schweinsteiger

Bayer Leverkusen star Michael Ballack has urged Manchester United to sign his Germany teammate Bastian Schweinsteiger.

The ex-Chelsea midfielder believes that the Bayern Munich superstar can reach the pinnacle of his career by playing for a top club in England.

"Bastian has taken on the responsibility placed in him and is now in a phase when he is looking to reach the zenith of his career,” Ballack said.

"He took a huge step forwards at the World Cup. He has presence, authority, personality, performance and goals. He has everything.

"Only he will be able to feel what is right for him for the future.

"Every footballer is attracted to certain things and Bastian will feel these also but there are not that many big clubs around and Bayern is one of them.

"But on the other hand, Real Madrid or Man United are both attractive and he would fit in well at both clubs.”

ballack is a stupid fool. Why didnt he chose MU and now he is advicing another person. So what he was expecting Chelsea to do is to waste money on old foolish ***** like him.Damn it.

seems like Ballack really wants to stick it to the blues...he must have been treated very badly, just like Wilkins.

Right on Ballack! Bastian Schweinsteiger is tailor-made for MU and will perfectly fit the missing midfield jigsaw that the current lot cannot fulfilled. Ballack must have regretted choosing Chelski dollars instead of MU when Fergie was keenly sorting his signature and service. He would certainly have been better treated - on or off the fields, won more trophies, accolades, respects and affections... Fergie knows how to take care of his players, especially those with long services. What have you missed with MU, and how strong MU would be if you had joined?? Whether Ballack regretted his own mistakes for rejecting MU is not important. The immediate priority is to convince Fergie to buy and Schweinsteiger to join. Trust Ballack judgment this time, as this view is shared by millions of MU fans, worldwide..
