Craig Levein admits he may tinker with his Scotland formation in tonight's friendly with Cyprus in Larnaca.
Usually Levein plays with a 4-5-1 which he feels is perfect for the players he has in the squad but tonight could alter that at half-time to a maore attacking structure if all goes well.
"It has taken me a long time to get a system that everyone understands," he acknowledged.
"What I'd like is to experiment and find out if there are situations where we can change things.
"We'll start the game in our normal manner. If all is well, I'd hope Kenny Miller would start up front and Craig Mackail-Smith would come on at half-time.
"Kenny would then go off with half an hour to go and young Jordan Rhodes would play the last 30 minutes.
"I'd hope to achieve that, but you can never tell how things will go."
