Levein targets Chelsea's McEachran for Scotland

Scotland coach Craig Levein is seeking to poach young prospects from England.

The Daily Mail says the process has been underway for several weeks and will gather pace in the next few days when Blackpool winger Matt Phillips is selected for Scotland’s February 29 game against Slovenia.

The paperwork for the England Under 20 prospect was extracted from a reluctant FA this week and submitted to FIFA on Tuesday.

Hull City striker Cameron Stewart, Liverpool midfielder Jonjo Shelvey and Chelsea youngster Josh McEachran have also been targeted and will be approached about switching allegiance.
