Scotland coach Craig Levein is happy seeing Charlie Adam at Stoke City.

The former Liverpool midfielder joined Stoke for £5m on deadline day.

Levein said: "Charlie was told he wouldn't be part of the plans at Liverpool.

"I love the way he then didn't hang around. He accepted that and just wanted to play. I love the fact he's moving because he wants to play football."
