Scotland boss Craig Levein isn't concerned losing Liverpool striker Andy Carroll to England.
Levein did make enquiries about capping the centre-forward.
He said: "The Andy Carroll situation, we struggled with that one, to be honest. He was in the set-up at 19 for a get-together or something but never really right inside.
"So I'm not so worried about somebody like him, who was born in England and considers himself English. The fact we didn't get him because he was at the top of his game and wanted to play for England isn't a concern for me."
