Scotland coach Craig Levein says the door remains open to Wolves striker Steven Fletcher.
Fletcher is yet to end his international exile, despite calls from teammates and ex-players.
Levein said: "Nothing has changed. He knows through a third party that if he wants come back in, he just has to make me aware by the same means that he bowed out.
"In any group there must be rules. It's much simpler if the rules are the rules and everybody has to abide by them.
"He's the one who said he didn't want to play. If he wants to play then he knows how to do it, make contact. As far as I am concerned, it is straightforward.
"The reason it's a happy group is that everybody enjoys coming along.
"The players get a degree of freedom to do what they want. Everything is catered to keep them happy because I understand playing for Scotland has to be a pleasurable experience."
