Scotland boss Craig Levein is convinced Blackpool midfielder Charlie Adam can play in the Premiership.

Adam has been linked with Wigan Athletic and Bolton Wanderers, among several Premiership clubs, and could even go up with Blackpool.

Levein said: "We have a lot more players in the Premiership than we have had for a while.

"But I could do with some more and that might soon be the case.

"Charlie Adam has been excellent and in the games I have watched he has been their best player."
