Levante president Quico Catalan is resigned to losing goalkeeper Keylor Navas in the summer.
The talented Costa Rica international is being linked with Liverpool and Manchester City ahead of the summer market.
Catalan admits: "We put everything on the table to renew for longer, but we don't know why he won't.
"We're not interested in keeping him for the remaining year and then he'll be free.
"He is a major player in the summer market and will be open to other teams."
