Levante have held clear the air talks with coach Giovanni de Biasi over the interest of Parma.

De Biasi met with Levante directors, including president Julio Romero, yesterday to discuss Parma's apparent interest.

Levante spokesman Javier Navarro confirmed: "He wanted to know what we think of him and we said we would like him to continue as coach of Levante.

"He has told us he is very happy in Valencia and that tomorrow he will go to training. We do not know what his intentions are or whether he is negotiating with Parma, we have not talked about the duration of a possible new contract or the amount.

"We want him to stay, but the situation is delicate and we cannot promise anything , the door is open, we are happy with him."
