Rennes president Olivier Letang admits Manchester United striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic was too big for PSG.

Letang was sports director at PSG after Ibrahimovic arrived from AC Milan.

He recalled to Ouest France: "The idea in Paris was to build the club quickly, but keeping the institution.

"I love Zlatan Ibrahimovic, we have a very good relationship, but when I arrived, there was Zlatan above the club.

"The idea was to put the club back above Zlatan, to build a very solid institution. It was important ...

"But that, the big players know, they are not crazy. They know that the club is more important and they respect this no problem."
