West Brom's Joleon Lescott has successfully completed a medical ahead of a move to Aston Villa.

Lescott has been under the watchful eye of Villa manager Tim Sherwood for most of the summer, and finally looks set to make the move to Villa Park.

The 33 year old was at Villa's home base for a medical earlier today, which Sky Sports has reported as being successful.

Villa are likely to unveil their new man over the next few hours.
