Joleon Lescott says is priority is to win a new contract with Manchester City.

City pondered moving him on this summer but injury concerns over captain Vincent Kompany and Matija Nastasic forced boss Manuel Pellegrini into a rethink.

Lescott said: "Most of my City career has been with pressure being put on by speculation. Nothing would please me more than to sign an extension."
