Manchester City defender Joleon Lescott was impressed by Napoli star Edinson Cavani this week.

Cavani is being strongly linked with a move to City and he has scored three times against them this season after his brace on Tuesday.

Lescott said: "He's one of the best in Europe for a reason.

"He scored three goals in two games against us, so it doesn't bode well for us but Napoli are full of good strikers and their work ethic is tremendous."
