Manchester City defender Joleon Lescott has hit out at 'fans' who abused him during their FA Cup draw at Blackburn Rovers yesterday.
Lescott has criticised a section of the City fans for making comments about the defender that were not related to his football, which is why he refused to show appreciation to the travelling fans at the final whistle.
He tweeted:
Can only apologise for not showin apperception after the game but some comments I heard from a small group of our fans were unnecessary
