Joleon Lescott admits Manchester City may have been too cavalier in the Champions League.
City may have grown used to dominating after scoring 42 goals in 12 games to open up a five-point lead at the top of the Barclays Premier League but a different approach may be needed in Europe.
Lescott said: "There is no way you can point the finger.
"We are obviously disappointed to concede two goals, that is unlike us.
"But this is a hard place to come and get a result.
"We can't always expect to score three or four goals to win every game.
"Sometimes we need to be hard to beat. Obviously we had a lot of possession and maybe in the first half we could have gone in with a lead but it wasn't to be.
"In the second half they pressed us and got a good goal.
"The atmosphere was great, I wouldn't say it was intimidating. It was good. We knew they were loud.
"At the home leg there was only a thousand of them but they were vocal then. We knew it would be intense and it was."
