Leonardo urges fans not to panic after latest AC Milan defeat

AC Milan coach Leonardo put on a brave face after their 1-0 defeat to Udinese last night. Milan were beaten by a solitary Antonio Di Natale goal and Leonardo insisted afterwards: "We got off to a strong start and then conceded a goal 20 minutes in, so it all became very difficult as Udinese were focusing on the counter.

"In the second half we created chances, but unfortunately as is happening a lot to us, we had possession and couldn't finish off those opportunities.

"In any case, I certainly cannot say we weren't sharp or impressive. Milan deserved a draw tonight."

They have only scored three goals in the opening five games, while Ronaldinho and Alexandre Pato have been on particularly poor form.

"At the moment perhaps we are lacking a little something at the front. Pato is always marked very tightly and he has difficulty finding space," added Leonardo.

"Ronaldinho did well, he sped up the pace of the team and [Klaas-Jan] Huntelaar also tried to do his job as a goal poacher."
