AC Milan coach Leonardo attempted to be upbeat after their stalemate at Livorno.
"In the first half we were pinned back into our own half and struggled to get support in to the strikers," confessed the Coach.
"After the break we really wanted to win and created so many scoring opportunities. We could easily have won today, considering all we did."
Andrea Pirlo was on the bench, but created their best chance late on when his free kick thumped the underside of the crossbar.
"When Pirlo came on he played well, but what counts is the performance of the collective. In the first half we struggled, we did better in the second."
