Leonardo feels Inter Milan returning to their very best

Inter Milan boss Leonardo says they're returning to their very best after an impressive 4-1 win over Bologna.

Inter Milan boss Leonardo says they're returning to their very best after an impressive 4-1 win over Bologna.

Dejan Stankovic, Diego Milito and a Samuel Eto'o brace tore Bologna to shreds yesterday.

“I think this is the Inter we saw for such a long time. It’s a team with clear ideas and a clear vision of its football,” said the Coach.

“Some were struggles, such as against Napoli and fighting back to beat Catania. Perhaps our biggest weakness is defending from set pieces, but it might be a coincidence.”

Inter are closing the gap on leaders Inter and have two games in hand against Cesena and Fiorentina.

“I respect Milan, but right now I have a rapport with Inter. There are a lot of games to go, so it’s not the time to be making calculations.

“This was an important victory against a Bologna side in good form. It is wonderful to see Samuel Eto’o and Diego Milito seek each other out on the field. Harmony in a team is essential.”
