AC Milan boss Leonardo was delighted with their 2-0 victory over Parma.
Marco Borriello bagged a brace, but it was Ronaldinho who set up both goals with some powerful runs down the left.
Leonardo declared: "We weren't dead yet! I think everything has its own path to take and we went through our difficult times, but I am very satisfied with what the team is doing.
"We scored early and had other chances to kill off the match, had to suffer for a while and took home the three points.
"A player can change over the years and develop different characteristics, but Ronaldinho has these surges and I kept pushing him to try it because I know that he can.
"We have rapid players down the wings and it is all about finding the right moment to hit them.
"Admittedly this time we were a little more cautious and eager to protect the result in the light of what happened in Naples. That's really not something we're built for.
"It is important to have alternatives and see the way players can cover different tasks. Borriello is back and we are all very happy, he scored two great goals and he'll help the team a great deal this season."
