Inter Milan president Massimo Moratti is set for crisis talks with directors today. TMW says Moratti is doing a root-and-branch review of Inter's failing season after last night's 3-0 humiliation by Werder Bremen.
Rafa Benitez's job will be up for discussion, with Moratti now split on giving him time to guide Inter to victory in the Club World Cup, or making an immediate decision to replace the Spaniard so to give a jolt to his misfiring players.
Former AC Milan coach Leonardo is emerging as a serious candidate to succeed Benitez.
The Brazilian remains a free agent and it's claimed Moratti will offer a long-term deal to convince him to cross the divide - and in the process end all plans of luring Pep Guardiola away from Barcelona in June.
