Former AC Milan record transfer Gianluigi Lentini is sorry to his old club on the rocks.

Lentini is shocked by their lack of transfer spending and the clearout which occurred over the summer.

"Yes, because Milan has always been a pioneer. I'm really sorry ... ," he told TMW.

"Now those players have been sold. They need to look forward, but with a lack of quality players. Milan have always had players of quality, charismatic, who could pull out the crucial blow.

"I've seen poor quality, it is impossible not to score a goal (at home). ... I do not understand what's going on."
