Newcastle United boss Alan Pardew is reportedly showing interest in Lens midfielder Geoffrey Kondogbia.
The 19-year old Frenchman has been one of the most consistent players in France's Ligue 2 this season with his performances attracting the attention of Pardew.
The Magpies boss signed four French players last season - Yohan Cabaye, Hatem Ben Arfa, Sylvain Marveaux and Gabriel Obertan - and it is believed that he may return to that market in the summer for the £2million-rated Kondogbia.
