Aruna Dindane has knocked back an offer from French club Monaco in the hope he can secure a move to the English Premier League.
The Lens striker has been the subject of a move away from the club for most of the off season and it became clear that Monaco were extremely interested.
But the 28-year old Ivorian turned them down in a bid to land in England with one of many potential suitors including Hull City, Stoke City and Blackburn Rovers.
Dindane made it clear to skypsorts.com he did not want to join Monaco.
"I do not want to go to Monaco. I have told Lens and it is up to them to resolve my situation," he said.
