Lens defender Dimitri Cavare is interesting Premier League clubs.
The Mail on Sunday says Villa are monitoring Cavare, 19, this month.
The right back has been earmarked as Swansea City and Bolton Wanderers have shown interest in signing Villa's Matthew Lowton.
Lowton is expected to leave on-loan this week.
